Have an Awesome Week

Familia!

Happy anniversary! Happy birthday Jessica! Happy birthday Sunny!

This week was a week full of miracles! We found a lot of new people and we actually taught a lot of lessons! With members!

R is really cool. She has four kids (under the age of 8) and is super interested and wants to learn. However, she and her boyfriend are separated but living in the same house. Apparently his changing so they might actually get married. I'm not quite sure. We'll see how this goes later. But they have a baby horse in their back yard. And two dogs. But anyway. After the first lesson she hadn't read, but she prayed! And she definitely said she was going to read before we came again.

We taught this man the other day and we were like, "can we share a message with you?" and he was like, "no" and we didn't know if he was joking or not. We figured yes because he was a referral and we didn't have a member with us so we were sitting outside, so we just did. But I was definitely confused for a moment there.

We taught M this week (the husband of G). We taught the Plan of Salvation. He didn't really seem to understand the Spirit World because he asked like three times what happened RIGHT AFTER you die. We even had a member who explained it way better than us, like three times. Hopefully he got it.

A is really interesting. He took at least some of the missionary lessons in Utah and he really really loves eternal families but he has three doubts about our church 1) Women and the priesthood (we cleared that up) 2) Blacks and the priesthood and 3) Tithing. So we're going to teach him about the Book of Mormon. We're going to show him how all of his concerns are resolved by whether or not the Book of Mormon is true. We'll also answer his questions, but the most important thing is the Book of Mormon. So we'll see how the lesson tonight goes.

I'm not really sure what else to say. Everything kind of blurs together.

The family of four is hard to get a hold of. The dad is super interested, but it's hard to find them all together. His interested but sometimes he just likes to talk. Like about his childhood. How he always wanted an education but never was allowed to have one, something about being really poor so he only got to wear shoes on Sundays, and a lot of other stuff. Basically, reading the scriptures are really hard for him. But he wants to learn.

If any of you have questions about blacks and the priesthood read this: https://www.lds.org/topics/race-and-the-priesthood?lang=eng&query=race+and+the+priesthood seriously, people are so misled.

Anyway, I hope you have an awesome week!
