Labor Day

Hello there!

So what I did today. There's a cool family in one of our wards that can turn pens. So we went over there and turned a pen, well two actually. Here they are:

The lighter one is made from Las Vegas Olive and the orange one is made from some wood that starts with a p. We took blocks of wood, put them on something that spins them, and then carved them. Pretty cool huh?

It came from a tree like this. A Las Vegas olive wood.

More particularly from this branch.

Look what I made!

This week I went on two exchanges. They were pretty fun.

One day we were walking around and we street contacted this lady who was sitting down with her head in her hands. She was really down because her son has a mental illness and life is really hard for her. But as we testified of the Atonement she totally cheered up. We also gave her a Book of Mormon and she was really excited to read it.

Monday we found two new investigators! They are a young couple named M and M. We brought this couple from church and they were perfect for them! Like, they had everything in common.

J and D are doing awesome! D is a less active and her boyfriend is J who is not a member. He's really starting to progress! It's really cool to see!

Anyway, I don't have a lot of time, but it's cooling down to only 105, so that's good.

Love you!

Hermana Leete

By the way, president was totally the one to suggest that I skype home, I didn't even ask!
